In response to the Government's proposed bill to tighten the supply and consumption of alcohol in public places, the Singapore Justice Party (SJP) issued a press statement opposing it.
While there is nothing unusual for an opposition party to issue a press statement in response to such bills, what caught the eye of Singapore General Election 2016 is the quality of the English in the statement. The English left much to be desired with numerous grammatical mistakes.
Our point is this ... If we cannot even issue a grammatically correct press statement, how can Singaporeans take you seriously?
