M Ravi Wants to be Prime Minister of Singapore

SINGAPORE. In a surprise turn of events on 2 Feb 2015, self-proclaimed human rights lawyer M Ravi declared at a hastily convened press conference his decision to contest the next General Election as an independent candidate in the Ang Mo Kio GRC.

M Ravi PM Singapore Ang Mo Kio GRC

M Ravi is well-known in the Singapore legal scene as the "go to guy" for any opposition member who runs foul of the law. In fact, M Ravi charged Roy Ngerng $70,000 to be his legal counsel, when even senior counsels like Davinder Singh only charged PM Lee $20,000 for the same case.

M Ravi is also known to be suffering from bi-polar disorder and was seen singing, dancing and hugging trees at Hong Lim Park. At one stage during his 2-hour "party", M Ravi flung an orange flower garland into the air and attempted to slice it with a fake silver sword.

I am not sure about you, I am quite certain that I do not want M Ravi as my Prime Minister and much less as an elected Member of Parliament. Singaporeans must indeed vote wisely at the next General Election to keep undesirables like M Ravi out of office.
