Tan Kin Lian Admits to Software Piracy on Facebook

Tan Kin Lian software piracy epicfail

Tan Kin Lian does it again! In another one of his "classic" Facebook post, the former 2011 Presidential Candidate shared how he got one of his staff to "re-use" the Windows licence on a new PC he just purchased.

We have always laughed at how stupid some criminals can be, but we never thought that Tan Kin Lian (aka Mr 4.9%) would be one of them. Really! How dumb can some people be?

If anyone has Microsoft's stop piracy hotline, we encourage you to call in and earn yourself a cool $10,000.

Tan Kin Lian Exposed as Racist. Singaporean relieved.

Mr Tan Kin Lian, also known as Mr 4.9%, is at it again ...

Tan Kin Lian's non-sensical Facebook postings and blog articles are always good for a few laughs. In one blog posting, Mr 4.9% proudly proclaimed that he had recently discovered that the humble umbrella was the solution to Singapore's COE problems. According to Mr Tan, if every Singaporean carried an umbrella, the need to own a car "in case it rains" will no longer be there. Thankfully Tan Kin Lian was not elected President of Singapore. I would not be surprised if he lobbied for the Government to give every Singaporean an umbrella.

Tan Kin Lian Racist remarks singapore

More recently, Tan Kin Lian made the "news" again on social media, when he was flamed by netizens for posting a racist remark on his Facebook page. Mr Tan posted a picture and captioned it "I boarded SMRT 857 and found that I was in Mumbai." Many Singaporeans remarked that they were glad that Tan Kin Lian did not win the 2011 Singapore Presidential Elections. In fact, Tan Kin Lian lost so badly that his election deposit of $48,000 was forfeited. In total, Tan Kin Lian only managed to garner 4.9% of valid votes cast. The next lowest number was 25%.

In recent months, Tan Kin Lian has been an active supporter of Roy Ngerng. This only proves that birds of a feather flock together. Singapore voters should indeed vote wisely!
